I CASEd my Nine Year Old Daughter! AND… My Best Friend is Now Blogging!

OK…first of all…my best friend, Janet, is now blogging!  Yay!  This should be fun.  I would like all of you guys to go and welcome her to the blogosphere and show her some love!  Then print out the recipe for her biscotti…’cause girls…you have NEVER had anything so good!   She is now a permanent spot on my blogroll.  So go to her blog: Musings from the Minivan!

OK…we were having a “craft night” the other night and the girls were stamping.  The wanted to play with “the Christmas trees”, (“Playful Christmas” from Kitchen Sink), so I was helping Sophie (7)  who made the cutest little card:

kitchensinkicecream.jpg  This is a VERY big sneak peek (in the sentiment) department!!!!  Isn’t this awesome?  I used the back of the “Backgrounds and Borders” diamonds to make the green and then flipped it around to make the chocolate chips!  I then embossed them with clear EP.  Then I used the “Playful Christmas” set to make the cone with creamy caramel ink. I then lined up all of the sentiments on my block and stamped them.  Then placed the Ice Cream Cone.

Hey Beck! Thanks for the great welcome! How about that Emma…that girl is so going to do great things in the art world. How great is that cone? I am loving the sentiments! “yada yada yada”! Hee hee.

  2. Dee says:

Wow!! I love what you do with the stamps!! You really think outside the box. I love it!! The tree as a cone is just awesome:) Rock on girl!

  3. Charmaine says:

This is just too sweet! That’s great that you CASED your daughter!

  4. Try using the large daisy base from 3 Step Daisy for the ice cream blob. I don’t have my card scanned but it makes a good ice cream blob.
The smallest 3 step daisy base works as a cherry… if you squint!

  5. I don’t have the “Three Step Daisy” :(

  6. Christi says:

How cute that you cased your daughter! Kids have the best imaginations. Awesome cards and I am loving that sentiment!
