A Hat for Gwyneth

Many of you may remember my friend’s sister’s baby Gwyneth. If not, you can read about her here! Well…she is up in New Jersey for Christmas and gets here today. So last night I made her this:

to keep her head warm :)

So I was browsing blog who link here, which lead me to more blogs, and even more blogs, and I came across this one blog and post where I found the pattern to make this jersey knit hat. The project she made the pattern for is to help babies it Haiti. The deadline has already past, but she will be having many more opportunities to donate handcrafted items if you want to save this blog to your favorites.

Another baby I would like you to pray for today is baby Francesca. Please go see Andrea’s blog today for a very special way to RAK, and maybe get rewarded for it!

We don’t want to forget all of these sweet babies and their Mom’s and Dad’s this Christmas! Christmas is the most special time for children!! Hope you have a great day. I am off to do some errands and write up some envies for my Christmas Cards before I get too behind!

Stamps: None! I am going stampless today :)

Paper: PTI windowed Kraft coffee bag, white shimmer

Ink: A little Berry Sorbet

Other: Super Jumbo Snowflake Punch, Brad, Silver Tinsel Cording from I {heart} Papers, Nestabilities, Buttons from SEI, Jersey fabric, yarn for crocheting, embroidery floss

Thanks so much for posting about my RAK request for Francesca! I greatly appreciate it. It appears I amy have given you the wrong link or something though…the link above goes to a Blog Candy for a Cause I did last year. Here is the correct link for Baby Francesca:

I love your little jersey hat! I tried to access the pattern through the website you mentioned but it isn’t there–do you know anywhere else I can find it? I belong to a group who makes hats for newborns born to low income moms in our city and this one looks so easy. Thanks for a wonderful blog!
