Just Rite Holiday

I had a lovely time making this cookie box with my new Just Rite stamps. I embossed white on Papertrey Dark Chocolate card stock. I just love the contrast of the white on the brown. So warm and crisp all at the same time. I had some more fun with felt and using a blanket stitch on it just gave the look of a homey gift! So I baked up some Peanut Butter Blossoms, Peanut Butter Cookies and some Chocolate Chip cookies. They fit nicely in the Papertrey Egg box for giving. Hint: To make that cool pattern on the peanut butter cookies, I used a large meat tenderizer, not a fork! I plan to take this to my friend’s house this week. I am off to see Sophie carol today with her class. I spent the weekend between New York City and church! So busy, just like everyone else. This may be my last post of the week, due to some more preparations I have to make for our Christmas, but I may be able to squeeze one more post in. Emma’s class is doing a new PJ drive for kids who will not have Pajama’s for this winter. You may have seen this on Oprah before. Well, her class is doing it and I am going to make up 30 card kits for them to work on during the class party tomorrow. I have to get a move on! So much to do!! Have a great day…if anyone is reading this who isn’t frantically buying presents right now!

I am right now having a cup of coffee and salivating looking at these luscious goodies!

I’m definitely leaning towards purchasing a Just Write Design but am sooooo in the dark about it. How easy is it to use?

  7. You know what, I never make mashed potatoes anymore, I buy them already made from bob evans at the grocery store. MmmmGoood. I use my mashed potato masher to flatten my PB cookies.

You should get you blog readers to send in pajamas! I could get a pair after Christmas and send them to you. Tell me more. My kids would enjoy this idea.
