Well!  WOW…what a week it has been!!  I have been running around like a chicken with my head cut off and hardly home at all, but now things as of yesterday are starting up in my new routine!  I had a long run of rehearsals over break and a concert Sunday which went well. My teaching at Drexel started up yesterday, and today…well…today is such a special day!  Emma turns 11 today!!  My sweet girl who loves to draw and play with her sister.  Emma is an old soul.  She is a consistantly calm child who takes everything in stride.  Quiet and always thinking.  I love you Emma! 

Here is her birthday card I made for her today.  I hope she flips when she sees it!  It was made using a cartoon she drew over the summer.  This was her first attempt using copics for a cartoon of hers.  She absolutely loves cartooning and I always make comments to her that she lives in her own “Happy Cartoon World,” because she DOES!  All the time! 

This sentiment from PTI’s Birthday Basics  was perfect for her!  Isn’t it great!!!  It really embodies the spirit of the card and her cartooning!
