Stamp Simply “It’s Still Winter”
Hi Guys! Todays challenge is for us to make a card…a wintry card because it IS still winter! So here is mine! I had SO much fun making this one! I just used a nestability to cut the window from the vanilla card stock and made a background on the Ocean Tides card stock. The most fun part thoughw as making my little pom poms out of yarn! I thought it would be perfect with these mittens! Have you ever made pom poms before? This was my first try since I was about 7! Can you tell I am proud? LOL!
So this challenge is on splitcoast if you want to play along. Put in the keyword ssnotime69, so we can all see, OK? So I am running a little late, so I am going to list the supplies but link them later. I have to go teach a toddlers music class this morning, and then I have a Bible Study meeting here. My camera was out of batteries when I tried takingt his piscrure, so I am way behind! Oh yeah…and my dog ate my homework!
Go see what the other COLD WINTRY girls cooked up this morning!

That darn dog! He was probably taking pictures of some cute poodle too, and that’s why your camera batteries were dead!

Baby, it really IS cold outside and this is a PERFECT card that says “It’s Still Winter”. I remember one Christmas when my mamma got all 3 of us girls new mittens on strings. We were babes – thought we really rocked! Thanks for a great card AND a great memory! So … how was bible study? Did you pray for the dog and the camera?

Too cute! I resurrected my pompom skills last week on a card for a cheerleader friend of mine. They really do add some pop to a card, don’t they? And, they’re fun to make. I love all the layers and dimensions but minimal colors. I think I’m getting a chill — bbbrrrrrrrrrr!
