Stamp Simply “It’s Still Winter”

Hi Guys!  Todays challenge is for us to make a card…a wintry card because it IS still winter!  So here is mine!  I had SO much fun making this one!  I just used a nestability to cut the window from the vanilla card stock and made a background on the Ocean Tides card stock.  The most fun part thoughw as making my little pom poms out of yarn!  I thought it would be perfect with these mittens!  Have you ever made pom poms before?  This was my first try since I was about 7!  Can you tell I am proud?  LOL!

So this challenge is on splitcoast if you want to play along.  Put in the keyword ssnotime69, so we can all see, OK?  So I am running a little late, so I am going to list the supplies but link them later.  I have to go teach a toddlers music class this morning, and then I have a Bible Study meeting here.  My camera was out of batteries when I tried takingt his piscrure, so I am way behind!  Oh yeah…and my dog ate my homework!

Go see what the other COLD WINTRY girls cooked up this morning!

Baby, it really IS cold outside and this is a PERFECT card that says “It’s Still Winter”. I remember one Christmas when my mamma got all 3 of us girls new mittens on strings. We were babes – thought we really rocked! Thanks for a great card AND a great memory! So … how was bible study? Did you pray for the dog and the camera? :)

  13. rebecca says:

Too cute! I resurrected my pompom skills last week on a card for a cheerleader friend of mine. They really do add some pop to a card, don’t they? And, they’re fun to make. I love all the layers and dimensions but minimal colors. I think I’m getting a chill — bbbrrrrrrrrrr!
