I just love this special time! Projects are done and uploaded, all of the sneak peeks are through and everyone fills up their carts and waits…although just for a bit, to rip open that sweet Papertrey package of goodness that comes to the door. It is better than chocolate!
I have a deep suspicion that if you have some sort of per month limit, you just may break the rules this month. The sets which are out now are ones that are “must haves” (aren’t they all), but particularily great sets for some very specific papercrafting needs. So here are my creations for this month! Hope you enjoy.
This card using “Around & About Sentiments” designed by Heather Nichols works so incredibly well with so many other sets from Papertrey, Nichole did a whole post about it HERE! For this card, I paired the sentiment and flowers with the Polka Dot Basics set and the new Marvy Flower punches. Do you see the stem? That was cut out using my new favorite tool! A fiskers cutting wheel with a scalloped edge. I then placed spring moss cardstock behind it to make the stem green. I used this cutting wheel again in the next project I will share, but with a DIFFERENT blade!
This project featuring the new “Simply Stationery” set from Candice Aguillar is one of my favorite things. I am going to be really using this project and it is actually in my purse right now! I made a book of calling cards. The size of the full sheet of paper in the book is 5×7. I used the PERFORATION blade on my Fiskars wheel to make perforations at 3inches and 6 inches, so you have an inch next to the spine of the book as well as two perfectly even 3×5 cards to jot down notes to leave to someone, or to jot down contact information. All of the monograms are embossed in gold, as well as the front and back cover which are both embossed with detail white embossing powder found at the Papertrey store. The alphabets used were the new “Fresh Alphabet” and the previously released “Simple Alphabet” for the back cover.
This next card is a good example of what can be done with just an Alphabet Set. I adore the font on the new “Fresh Alphabet” set SO MUCH! Why? It is so graphic and clean. I made this card for the conductor of a choir I am in. This card is the logo of the group! How nice would it be to be able to incorporate logos into your stamping like this? It could also be a good revenue builder to sell them to work colleagues! Think about anything which can be customized. The limits are endless. I paired the striking words with one of my favorite PTI sets ever, “Guidelines”. I made two cards in a previous post using the New Sympathy Sets (including Loss of Child and loss of Pets), so make sure you check those out as well!
You can see all of the supplies for these projects and more that I have made HERE

Both your card and little book are too stinkin’ cute. Especially love the Around and About Sentiments! I am also dying to know about this Fiskars tool, I have never seen it, can please share where you purchased it?
i love the scalloped edge on your card! i must find that cutting wheel!! simply lovely!
Love the memo book! What a great idea for notes that are personalized! I’m liking the simple fonts too on the card – what a great way to use letters! Need a new Fiskars tool! I need to stop getting emails – it’s getting expensive!!! hee hee.

Another amazing project. I am always scrounging for pices of paper to leave notes or jot down my number or email for someone. I love this! Thanks!
Fabulous work Becky!!!
I just love your PTI release samples, they are all beautiful and so creative! The flower stem is awesome and the perforated notebook is brilliant! I know that I went way over budget last night, oop! I almost didn’t get the alphabet set, but ended up putting it in my cart at the last minute!! I am so glad I did! Thank you for sharing your wonderful creations. I really love your clean crisp style:)

LOVE this! Way to cool!!!
Love your card samples. They make me jealous because I am not as creative as the design team members. They also give me inspiration and I thank you for that!!!
