Crazy Love and a Crazy Girl.

Do you like my button tic tac toe board?  It is fun :)   So I should tell you something about the card, but I have nothing to tell really.  Just made out of this amazing stamp set “Heart Prints” and some coool punched out colors on some sweet scored card stock and a hot color scheme of raspberry fizz and red!  So there is nothing to tell really.

Things have been insane here this morning.  I am late posting this because I ended up hosting our Bible study that I help teach here because the girl who is hosting had a death in her family, so it was me this morning in my robe vacuuming like a freak and cleaning the toilet.  Really people, would I have a dirty toilet if you come over?  No.  It had to be done, and apparently I had to share.

So did you watch the inauguration yesterday?  Of course you did.  Man…Aretha Franklin still has it doesn’t she?  You go miss Aretha!  I was insired by her wardobe I have to say.  So last night I fashioned a tribute to her.  I will share.  Here ya go..and yes…this WAS 1am that I got this stroke of crafty genius, and I was NOT looking fine this morning when I shot this photo….remember vacuuming:

My scarf hat tribute.  She was awesome, and she inspired me.  :)   Just sharing.  Don’t judge.

Stamps: Heart Prints (Papertrey Ink)

Paper: Raspberry Fizz, Dark Chocolate, Pure Poppy, Berry Sorbet, White

Ink: Rapb. Fizz, Pure Poppy, Berry Sorbet

Other: Buttons, circle punch

I’m digging the hat. I must say, when Aretha got halfway through the first verse, I had tears streaming down my face. It was just perfect–listening to her sing My Country Tis of Thee gave it new meaning to me. The power of music, of song, as you well know! And I love your stamping, too!
