This kit is WONDERFUL!  Isn’t this just a huge week of surprises? When we were given the assignment to come up with a sketch for this kit and new Friends “til the End stamp set, I really wanted to make something I haven’t seen a lot before.  I think it turned out to be an interesting sketch, especially for these big bold FIERCE new stamps (oh they are just WOW…bold and amazing)!   I used filagree clear embossing powder for the flowers and used copics to color them in.  When I was making this card I was thinking about all of the wonderful people I have met in only a relatively short amount of time.  People who actually care enough to leave a comment or to even come here and read this page at all!  I love the fact that a simple comment can lead to me e-mailing someone and an instant kinship occurs.  No lie, this happened yesterday!  (Hi Becky!)  I mean, how can you NOT e-mail and make friends with someone who has the same name as you?   Hee hee.  But seriously, whether it has been girlfriends of mine who live close by, girls who I have served with on design teams, or just those of us who are die-hard PTI addicts, it is wonderful to call you all my friends…and you KNOW who you are!  I have actually called several of these new friends on the phone and there is this weird unspoken connection.  Kind of like you have known each other all of your life!  You know what is strange?  I spend more time talking to many of my readers on a daily basis than some of my family members!  That just goes to show you what a passionate part of our lives stamping is.  To celebrate friends like this, think of them, get a card out to them, and show them you appreciate them!  I resolve to get better at this myself!  With kits like this it makes it much easier I tell you!  Who is in?
