Mega Mixed Messages
Oh what a joy! YES! FInally what we have all secretly been wishing for! Mega Mixed Meassages!!! What a wonderful set to enlarge and incorporate even with the original version of Mixed Messages! I thought I would focus my time today on some of the very fun script fonts in the set today. The larger size, especially in the script just make them that much more beautiful, don’t you think? I started out by using the “For a Gracious Hostess” stamp paired with the pineapple from “First Fruits” to make this classic thank you card for a hostess, which I will be in fact using this weekend! I topped it off with some fantastic Papertrey Iridescent glitter which I did while the ink was still wet, eliminating the need for glue. For the bottom part of the card, I introduced an accordian fold which I used in two of my cards today. This one with the lines moving horizontally. Would you like to see how I did it? Here is a simple picture tutorial for you!
I use my regular Mono Multi to adhere my paper folds to my cards. Here is another example using my favorite sentiment “Absolutely Fabulous!” I used the accordian fold going vertically this time.
I also thought with St. Patty’s Day around the corner, I had to use this next great sentiment “Good Luck” paired with Borders and Corners Hearts and the original Mixed Messages set with the same sentiment! See how nice it is to add both?
Isn’t the size difference a wonderful thing to use to your advantage? Wouldn’t this be a great opportunity for background paper? In case you were wondering…I know it is supposed to be a four-leafed clover. I just loved it so much with three leaves, I stopped

Oh, how I love this card.
The pineapple is one of my favorite stamps! I am so excited to see the Mega Mixed Messages to coordinate with the smaller one. I love the script and it gives such a classy finish to your project. Love the fan folds, too.

Gorgeous Beck!! I LOVE the new size. My teeny set doesn’t get any use at all but you have sold me on the new larger font. AND I love how you mixed the 2. You’re the bestest!

Each one of these are so great. I adore them! and I LOVE the 3 leaf clover. SO cute. I think a 4th leaf would have ruined it. And that is why you are a DT member right?! Always knowing what looks good. And boy do you ever!

I love your shamrock. Our school system uses the shamrock as our mascot. Once I got over the oddity of it, I am in love with it. here in our community, everyone is shamrock crazy. It is so much fun all year long!

I saw the amazing First Fruits set just last week when I was doing some searching through the PTI designers blogs. OMG, the pineapple is so amazing when each section is cut and raised! So, not this project, but I just had to give you a HUGE shout out for that design! AND wrt today’s cards, the accordian pleats really add such distinction to the cards. THANKS so much for sharing how to make them!
