Clearly Creative Cardstock…My new love

I was playing around with my new Clearly Creative Cardstock and Photoshop!  OOOH AHHHH!  Can I just tell you how much I {heart} this cardstock?  It is the first time I have had the honor of playing with it and it is just what you would expect from papertrey.  It is heavy, beautiful and will leave your transparency paper on the shelf!!!  So in playing today, I really wanted to make something special for Emma.  She has really been making my last couple of days full of joy, so I wanted to share how much she meant to me.

 Don’t see anything?

 How about now?

I added a second layer of Vintage Cream cardstock underneath along with what I found to be the “perfect” sentiment for a picture of the two of us together.

I used Aqua Mist ink and Handwritten Notes along with the photocopy setting on photoshop for the picture.  I really love how it gave sort of a soft black and white look, almost sketched on the creative cardstock.  Could you imagine Baby announcements or shower invites like this?  What about an anniversary card for your hubby?  Wow, they would be so nice!  AND it is mostly printing but adding a special hand stamped touch.  Something to try for sure!

Stamps: Handwritten Notes

Paper: Clearly Creative Cardstock, Vintage Cream cardstock

Ink: Aqua Mist

This is incredible….I have to get cracking and learn to do Photoshop…..I have figured out that I need to live to at least 80 in order to do half the stuff I want to do. Thanks for sharing, it’s beautiful.

  26. Can you share how you did the whole thing, printed on the clear cs? Pretty please….i want to make some!

  27. Oh, this is sooo breathtaking. I had to look at this again and again. I will definitely have to learn how to use Photoshop. I must get that cardstock. The card you made has to be framed. You should make two, one for Emmy and you. It is simply gorgeous. Thank you for inspiring us with your wonderful ideas.

  32. [...] You will see your image in the center of the page.  You DO NOT want it there!  So click OFF where it says CENTER IMAGE in the editing box to the right.  This will allow you to move your image around!  So just grab your image and slide it to the bottom left of your page.  leave a small margin around the edge and bottom so you have room for stamping.  If you are making two cards, do a copy of the same picture on the other bottom corner.  You can get two cards out of one piece of cardstock.  Put your CLEARLY CREATIVE CARDSTOCK through your printer and then stamp on your Vintage Cream Cardstock which will go underneath.  For full supplies for this project, you can go HERE [...]
