Hello all!
I wanted to pop in here really fast to give you that tutorial for the Clearly Creative Cardstock card. I will take you through the steps here. Sorry…I am really bad with screen shots etc., so I will explain this really simply.
First, import your photo. Here was mine:
Then go to FILTER-SKETCH-PHOTOCOPY
Your picture will then look something like this:
at this point you will see on the right hand side of your screen DETAIL and DARKNESS.
I had my settings for detail at the highest of 24, and my Darkness at the lowest of 1.
Then go to FILE-PRINT.
You will see your image in the center of the page. You DO NOT want it there! So click OFF where it says CENTER IMAGE in the editing box to the right. This will allow you to move your image around! So just grab your image and slide it to the bottom left of your page. leave a small margin around the edge and bottom so you have room for stamping. If you are making two cards, do a copy of the same picture on the other bottom corner. You can get two cards out of one piece of cardstock. Change your printer settings to print on TRANSPARENCY and then put your CLEARLY CREATIVE CARDSTOCK through your printer and then stamp on your Vintage Cream Cardstock which will go underneath. Hi Becky! LUV this project and I just had to run to my computer and print off a picture and it is beautiful!! Had a few “issues”, until I figured out that you can change the paper type to transparency!! Who knew??!! Can hardly wait to make “something” with it! Thanks for the tutorial…..

Becky, I love all of your ideas! Especially this one. I made an anniversary card for my husband and he was really impressed! Thank you! I do have one question for future cards..what type of adhesive did you use? I use glue dots on the back to attach the clear card stock to the colored card stock and on the front under the buttons. Any suggestions would be appreciated since I want to make these cards for my children’s anniversary. Thanks, Barbara.
I am just starting in cards and absolutely fell in love with this one, what computer program did you use? I would appreciate any info you can give me for a simple one that even a gramma can make work…. Love your stuff….
What am I doing wrong? I have followed the directions, and changed my printer preferences to transparency paper, but the ink never fully dries. I printed some yesterday, but it will still smear when touched. I LOVE this project and want to use your concept on my Christmas cards…
