Mod Squad

Howdy all!  Today I get to show you what I made from Dawn’s new set “Mod Squad.”  I am sure you have been enjoying her peeks all week, and now I wanted to show you some of the different ways you can use this set.

Of course, the traditional thinking behind this set is to think 60′s and 70′s!  I made a way 70′s color scheme of Scarlet Jewel and Melon Berry to showcase the “Modness” of it all!  The rhinestones add the bit of Saturday Night Fever to it.  The scallops…well..they are just “me.”

For this card I used Spring Rain and Enchanted Evening to use this small background stamp as water for my combination “Mod Squad” and “Out to Sea” card!  It was fun to combine both new sets coming out!  I like how that stamp looks for water!

For my third card, I chose to play up the little mod flowers in the set and utilize the background stamp again by cutting out the individual tear drops and using them as leaves for my felt flowers!  FUN!  So from the traditional to out of the box, you can think up lots of idea with this set!  Hope you enjoy more of Dawn’s sneak peeks today, and go see what Nichole did as well and enter for one of her wonderful giveaways!!
