In the new “On My Couch” set from PTI, Lisa Johnson added a sweet picture for above the couches using one of her sweet poppy images from her “Remember” stamp set. To play off of this, I thought I would use the same poppy image as a border for around my image here. I went with a grey, red, black and white color scheme since the poppies scream red to me, and the Bitty Box patterened paper (which is quickly becoming my favorite go to paper) almost looks like there is a touch of grey in the lines, even though it is white.
The sentiment sort of fit in that corner perfectly, so I went with it. Hope you like it!
Stamps: On My Couch, On My Couch Additions
Paper: Stamper’s Select, True Black, Pure Poppy, Bitty Box Patterned Paper
Ink: Palette Noir, Copics

I absolutely love your designs! This color combination is a real winner to my eye. Thanks for making the morning brighter!
Love it. I am too much of a weenie to do the black/white/red color scheme, but I might give it a whirl after seeing this. Love how you did the red cushions….
Hello! I’ve never commented here, but have followed for a few months. A friend of mine (Janet in NJ) told me about your blog and its one of my favorites (and I follow, well, too many!)
I just had to say how stinkin’ cute this is! I’m a former demonstrator from another popular stampin’ (hint) company, and I’ve totally changed allegiances to Papertrey!!!
One last thing before you fall asleep reading my comment. At first glance I thought the poppies were feather dusters. But, then I thought what a cute housewarming card that would make with featherdusters!
OR they could also look like pretty umbrellas OR even skirts. Just thought I’d share my ideas.
Have a great day!
The grey, red and black is a super combination of colors! Thanks for the inspiration, I feel like I could just climb onto that couch and take a little nap. Have a great weekend!
What a cute card. You have some of the most orignal ideas. Love them!!
