Upcycled Tea Caddy

This computer disc file holder was given to me by my bother when we got married.  It is lovely.  Nice wood and practical.  That is, until that style of disc went out to pasture.    So I decided to upcycle this pretty box.

A little “Tea for Two” stamping and coloring with copics, some Polka Dot Basics stamped and put on pop dots for bubbles and I have a new tea caddy!  Perfect for my dining room!  This way when I have guests and they want tea, they can pick it out themselves!

Hope you like it!  What will YOU upcycle today?

Stamps: Tea For Two, Polka Dot Basics

Ink: Pallete Noir, Vintage Touch Inking System, Copics

Other: Vintage Buttons (Dark Chocolate), Hemp, Nestabilities, Dimensionals

  1. My kids go through a lot of Crystal Light lemonade. (I buy the generic brand for them.)I save the tubes they come in and take off the wrapping to add scraps of card stock around the tube and decorate with a stamped image, buttons, ribbon…They are great ittle holders for treats you’d like to give.
