Good morning everyone!
Today I am so pleased to share with you Beth Silaika’s very first release set through Papertrey! Welcome Beth! Beth and I are close buddies, so I am so excited for her to experience this joy for the first time, and so happy that she is a part of the Papertrey family! CONGRATS BETHIE! One of the first things I loved about this set was the really cool background paper you can make with it! So for my fist card I will show you how I used a strip of a background which I made using Winter Swirls.

It complements the big chipboard so well! None of these stamps are really large in size, so it makes creating these types of backgrounds really easy. The parts just plug in! And how about some sugar on this strip?

Adding a nice helping of Martha Stewart clear glitter really brings attention to the stamping.
The next card is a perfect example of how wonderful this set is for backgrounds. Taking the Guidelines II cardstock, I went to town plugging these sweet snowflakes into the appropriate spaces on the cardstock!

A PERFECT fit! A set that nicely coordinates with the Guidelines II Cardstock is so handy for Christmas! Add a little Rhinestones and you have a joyful background!

Of course, there are plenty of images that can be focal images in this set as well! Take these sweet mittens for example. These would also be so great on smaller cards! Perhaps a 3×3 card with the new PTI envies! How fun would that be? I hope you enjoyed these cards and that you get a better idea for Beth’s new set! So many possibilities. What ideas do YOU see for Beth’s new set??

Love the mittens in this set. Thanks for your many ideas! Your designs are so great!
I’m just drooling over the first card. They’re all wonderful but that first one just makes you smile!
Hugs!!
I just LOVE your first card! It is just ADORABLE! I have never used Martha Stewarts glitter before – what technique do you use?
Awesome! It always is! I always love your stories about Germany. My great, great grandparents came over from Germany. Their name was Von Liebig but, dropped the Von when coming through Ellis Island. My father spent two years in Germany and still talks about it fondly. So it’s nice to hear your memories! Also I always love your creativity! Thanks!
WOW! I love all your cards! I esp love the first two.
Thank you for sharing such cute examples of this new set! I especially like your sweet little mitten card. Very cute!
I never knew you and Beth were buddies. I used to be on the Hanna Stamps DT with Beth. She seems like such a nice person, I have never met herm but I love her. I love what you shared with us today, too.
Fabulous cards, Becky — especially love the Noel one’s colors!
Love the Noel card with all the ‘sugar’ added to it.
They’re all just lovely examples of this fabulous set!

Love these cards, especially with the great use of background stamping. I am a patterned paper kind of girl, so you would think I use this technique more often…however I am always nervous it won’t turn out. I think I will have to give it another try and just GO WITH IT! Thanks for sharing!
LOVE the mittens card (my favorite color combo too!).
So cute! I love the pink and green noel card!
