Papertrey Release!

What a joy it is to share the rest of the cards I made for this release today!  I am in love with them all for different reasons, and I have been bursting at the seams to share!  Trust me…I have been dying over here!!!!  OK…here we go!

Backgroundbasics-diamonds The new Background Basics: Diamonds set from Nichole is so much fun.  I ADORE all of the backgrounds in this set and I think it truly looks amazing with the Plum Pudding cardstock!!  I had fun with this card!  Since it was a background set, I felt fancy free and footloose to grab some fun glittered chipboard and go to town!  I made my own embellishment flower using the Marvy flower punches which I glittered and stamped the same diamonds onto as well!  I think it turned out perfectly!  A little stitching and a plum pudding vintage button to top off the embellishment!

turning a new leaf

Is this stinkin’ cute or WHAT?  This card highlights Nichole’s new set called “Turning a New Leaf.” Did you read her story about this set?  I loved how she targeted one of her favorite stamps to use which was the large leaf image from Beautiful Blooms, and she decided she would improve upon it and make it even a more versatile image by combining a whole set of leaves!  LOVED that she took the passion for that one image she already designed and transformed it again…to be even better!  Fantastic for us, no??  A whole set of wonderful leaves to really play with!  It was really fun to make the background paper for this card!  All of my supply lists for these cards are over on the PTI forum design team gallery.

signature greetings

On to Dawn’s new set “Signature Greetings”

OK….I know this may sound crazy, but this  IS MY FAVORITE card of the entire release.  I LOVE everything…EVERYTHING about it!  I am SOOOOO sewing on black cardstock for the rest of my life now that I have seen the incredible results.  This is the PERFECT masculine Valentine’s day card!  I did machine stitch this entire card…even around the heart punch.  VERY slowly!

Big and Bold Wishes

Last but not least, Nichole’s new set Big & Bold Wishes. This is a large sentiment set which is paired with small sayings that cover a ton of things you need sentiments for.  I loved how it fit into this particular Nestabilities die.  I also love the new terracotta tile cardstock and ink.  The ink goes on the stamps like a dream.

I hope you liked what I created for you!  I hope this inspires you to go stamp right now!  Let me know what you think…especially that stitching on the black!  Wooohooo…isn’t it cool?

Did you see that I won the entire release last night? I am excited beyond belief. I have never, ever stayed up for a release party but just knew I needed to last night. I love your black card–it is awesome with the stitching. I will case it for sure. I will have the campground brochure out to you this week. The new one wasn’t in yet, but they gave me this years to send you.

Gonna case your hello card and black card with white stitching. Love it! Question… did you stitch a zig-zag twice on the hello card or does your sewing machine have a diamond stitch like that? It is tooo cute.
