Some More Communique Curves Goodness!

So, I thought I would share another Communique Curves card with you today!  This is Alli Miles’ new set that is out now over at Papertrey.

Such a sweet set.  I really am particularily drawn to the sentiments in this set.  So nicely done.  So…I am off today to NYC for a rehearsal.  I am taking Bolt Bus.  It is a great bus that only costs 10-12 bucks for a ride up there.  Trains take longer, so this is a great (and cheap) option when going to NYC from Philly.  Since my rehearsal is going to go pretty late, I am staying with my friend Priscilla who is an oboist in the Grad program at Juilliard.  She is actually going there to study Baroque oboe.  Her specialty lies in recorder/shawms/modern oboe and all Renaissance woodwinds, so there really isn’t anything she doesn’t do well :)   I am sort of proud of her.  I’ve known her since she was a little kid, so it is kind of cool to see how much she is growing.  It will be fun to see her.  I am debating whether or not to take my camera.  I have been really loving taking photos lately of my mundane life adventures, but I just don’t know if I should be taking such an expensive camera to NY.  Maybe I will if you talk me into it.  Sophie is home sick with a fever, so John is taking the day off to stay with her.  OK…well I better get off to bed and make sure I am rested.  I have a lot of singing to do tomorrow.  Ciao!

  1. This is so cute and colorful! Lovely!
As far as the camera thing, New York is a great place for photos, you just will have to watch your bag like a hawk. :)
Enjoy your time in the Big city!

  2. Love the card; take the camera! I would love to see pics of NYC and Priscilla.

  3. Love this card, Becky. I saw your humongous camera and I am not sure I would take that to NYC and “lug” it around. Do you have a smaller one? I adore seeing photos of your life so would love for you to take a camera, just feel bad thinking of you with yours hanging around your neck!!!
Hope your daughter feels better fast. John is a peach.
    Sing pretty!!!

  4. What a pretty card, wasn’t really crazy about this set during the release, but have seen some really nice creations with it now! Glad you are posting more frequently. Love your stuff!

    Take the camera!!!!

  5. LOVE the card! The patterned paper really works well with the card. Think my favorite thing though is bow and ribbon treatment! How cool to only show part of the ribbon, and not have it surrounding the entire card!

And definitely take your camera! I love seeing the photos from your trips!

  6. This is gorgeous Becky, I love those baubles!

  11. I am in awe of your many talents. You not only make beautiful cards but you sing too. Singing is one of my loves. For 15 years I directed our church choir and because of age and family obligations I had to giveit up. I love the syruppy (my word) Christmas music. Don’t ever get tired of it. I would love to hear how your performance goes. By the way love the card.

  12. Geesh that is so pretty! You are the queen of stamping!
