Say it with Style
Don’t you think Dawn has a great knack for presenting you with some hip fonts? That girl is all about the fonts, and this one is no exception! These words can take on so many looks from cowboy to circus to bad boy to fun, you can cover it all. When I saw it, I just wanted to get my cowgirl on and go to big, bold red and brown country town! So I made this HUGE oversized fabulous tag! Yeah….it was a blast…and no, I didn’t have a template. I cut it free hand. Don’t be scared, you can do it, or I could make you a template if I am convinced you NEED it!
and stitching. LOTS AND LOTS of stitching!!! Nothing says country like some fine stitching and rope detail! OK…I didn’t go as far as rope, but that rustic twine sure did put a twang in that scalloped circle and it roped up the bottom of dat ‘dem tag pretty darned good!
to add a touch of “Dawn”, I added the flouncy stitched grosgrain ribbon at the top. The top of the tag is actually cut down the center to the center hole punch. It is concealed by the button. This makes it easy to fit around a cellophane package for treat giving. Notice those sweet owls and label from Tiny Treats! Both sets will be available for purchase on the 15th over at Papertrey! Thanks fer lookin’! You may want to head on over to Dawn’s blog for more sneek peaks of her set as well. Also posting more sneaky peeks are Heather, Kim will show some more from her new templates for the Click Simple library, and our destinguished guest designer Jessica Witty! Whoot! Go check out these great projects!

Those owls are just the cutest. The way they are positioned, it’s not a big leap to believe that they’re really excited and saying “Hi-Ya!” to me.
