What Sweeter Music
Remember when I was up in Troy NY over Christmastime singing? I thought I would share some sweet music with you this morning from the concert. I am the one making weird smiling faces right up front next to the harpist’s stand. Don’t ask me what I was thinking, but I was sure happy for some reason! I was cracking up the whole time watching it! So…happy music time! Enjoy!
PS. I think I remember what I was thinking! I was thinking “My bangs are right in my eyes, where I need to see Stephen!” That was annoying me the whole night!

Thank you for sharing Beck, sweet! You know I’ve always wondered what singers are thinking about and now I know – bangs! ;o)

I love the a cappella section and WOW I love it with harp! Usually Rutter is so piano or organ heavy with his pieces but harp is the perfect gentle touch.. I wish I had a harpist at my school now! lol..

Thanks, Becky, I loved this – sweeter music indeed! I’ve only heard this song performed by a large choir and I love the more intimate sound of your ensemble. The harp was lovely and so was your performance!

I’ve had the priviledge of hearing your ensemble a couple of times at the University of California, Davis, and I’ve been following your stamping blog for a while. You are multi-talented. Loved the song and I think you are too critical. You looked great and sounded fantastic.

What a beautiful, peaceful way for me to start my day, Becky. Plus we are now at a campground where the internet lets me watch videos!!! What a treat and your smile is so beautiful, not to mention your lovely voice. Thank you so much for letting us see and hear this.

Beck, you looked so beautiful in this video!
And I love how happy you look. The others were so serious and you were just enjoying the moment and it shows.
I love that almost as much as the music.
Nice way to start Friday! *hugs*

Wow…So very lovely…I loved the piece and loved your voices (and the harp too…).. You should be smiling, (if I had that talent you wouldn’t be able to wipe my grin off my face…unfortunately I sing poorly, but I sing for myself….ha.

I am so glad I waited until it was QUIET before I listened to the video…it was a beautiful piece and I love the harp, which is so gentle! I understand about the bangs – I can’t tolerate hair in my face esp. when I need to concentrate, and also enjoy the moment, which you did! Thank you for sharing!
